My name is Kyutaro but everyone calls me Kyu (or Q). I was born in Sapporo, Japan, moved to San Diego when I was 2 months old, and raised there. Growing up, I was always solving math problems and puzzles and playing turn-based video games, where I would come up with a lot of new strategies to beat the game. My love for problem-solving is why I am passionate about coding and conducting economic research.
When I am not in the office, I am usually outside traveling to new cities, exploring the wilderness, and trying new food and restaurants.
